Often called the finest day trip in Scandinavia, the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art is as much about the setting as the art. Glass-walled galleries thread through a coastal park, opening onto a sculpture garden that tumbles down to the Øresund with Sweden shimmering on the horizon. World-class exhibitions, a legendary café terrace and that view make it easy to lose a whole afternoon here.
